For some, the very smell of a perfume, the wafting breeze from freshly-washed sheets, or scent of a hand soap, can cause either severe irritation or even allergic reaction.

Fragrance is simply a chemical creation. Purogenics scientists have told me that these chemicals are formulated to evaporate quickly into the air, so that they give a stronger sensation of odor. This is great for those who love strong scents--but what about the rest of us?

A fragrance contributes in no way to the effectiveness of a soap. To clean hands or dishes effectively, one needs only a good soap, not fragrance!
